Hey everyone! My journey to use all natural skincare products started with the brand Annmarie Gianni. I was reading some random post on nature and that post introduced me to this beautiful skin care line. I visited the website and their blog. I was so overwhelmed that after thinking about 2-3 days because the products are expensive, I finally decided to buy products from this brand because everything is in its purest form.
I have covered following topics in this review:
- Brand ethics
- Ingredient analysis
- Product Claims
- My experience
- Look, feel & smellof cleanser
- How to use
- Full ingredient list
- Price, packaging, shelf life
- Longevity, brand claims fulfilled?, availability
- Sum up
- Will I repurchase?
I heartily appreciate the fact that this brand refunds 100% money if you don’t like the products or the products don’t suit you. Have you ever heard of any other brand doing this? I haven’t till date. This gesture shows how pure, honest and faithful they are. All the products except samples are housed in miron violet glass bottles. Right from the cardboard box to the glass, everything is recyclable. How thoughtful is that! I have utter respect to the brands that provide and believe in sustainable packaging, emphasize on cruelty free, vegan formulas, listen to clients and focus on top notch natural ingredients. I have also bought essential oil blends from Annmarie Gianni.
The goodness in cleanser
This cleanser is jam packed with antioxidants, eye catching ingredients include the goodness of aloe leaf juice, lavender flowers, life everlasting flowers, lemon balm leaves and a lot more. I haven’t seen such ingredients in any skincare products yet.
Aloe leaf juice is the first ingredient in this cleanser. It is rich in vitamins as well as minerals like magnesium, potassium and zinc. It is idle to treat sunburns. The hydrating, anti inflammatory properties help calm and heal skin.
The second ingredient is aloe juice infused in tons of herbs like calendula flowers, life everlasting flowers, lavender flowers, lemon balm leaves, neem leaves, plantago leaves, rosemary leaves, olive leaves.
Calendula flowers have unique antioxidant properties that soothe inflammation and significantly reduce appearance of wrinkles and scars.
Life everlasting flowers protect the skin from environmental stressors, they are moisturizing. Antioxidant properties and fatty acids of these flowers are very beneficial to our skin.
Lavender flowers are widely known for relieving stress, calming inflammation. They are helpful in nourishing and moisturizing skin.
Lemon balm leaves belong to mint family. They are rich in potent antioxidants like caffeine and ferulic acid.
Plantago leaves are native to Europe. They are known for cleansing properties and soothing bug bites. These leaves also help in moisturizing the skin.
Rosemary leaves have properties to kill fungus, bacteria, viruses on skin. They are ideal for treating skin conditions like acne, eczema, psoriasis.
Olive leaves contain linoleic acid has the unique ability to mix with water which penetrates deeper into skin and help skin moisturize without clogging pores.
Witch hazel distillate regulates oil production in skin. It reduces excess sebum, nourishes and tones the skin. It is very helpful in soothing skin inflammation. And it is suitable for the sensitive skin types.
Presence of essential oils of lemon, rosemary, lemon myrtle and peppermint deliver antibacterial properties and add a pleasant fragrance. It is not bothersome at all.
In crux, this bottle is a bunch of antioxidants, nutrients, vitamins and minerals that would be very much helpful in balancing skin’s moisture with antiaging and healing effects
Gently lift excess oil with this pH-balanced, aloe vera-based gel cleanser. Removes makeup and impurities without harsh chemicals or leaving any residue. Witch hazel cleanses without stripping the acid mantle, the skin’s protective barrier. Hand selected herbs and oils keep your pores clear and skin refreshed.
This gel based cleanser is less foaming and it gives very slight tingling effect on skin for a few seconds. It takes off all the dirt, impurities, excess sebum and excess oil from the face without stripping off the moisture from skin – this is why I absolutely love it. Usually foaming cleansers strip off all the moisture but this cleanser is quite different. My face neither feels oily nor dry afterwards, as the goodness of aloe juice balances the pH level perfectly. Ever since I included this in my skincare routine, I could see visible differences on face right from the first usage. Usually natural products/raw ingredients can take upto weeks or months to show up the results but it is not the case with this one and I adore it.
I have acne prone skin and this cleanser, oh my gosh this cleanser calmed down my skin – all thanks to the calming aloe and herbs. I never imagined that a good cleanser can actually calm down and soothe skin. In one line I would say – this is the best facial cleanser I have ever used till date. I am so glad that I got my hands down to this one.
My skin loves this and I love this!!
How does it look, feel and smell?
This cleanser has orangish colour and it has gel like slightly runny consistency. It has a very sweet, soothing and citrusy aroma which will uplift your mood. I absolutely love this aroma. The moment I pump out this cleanser, it gives me soothing, refreshing aroma. It actually feels like I am holding a dollop of finely smashed aloe vera gel infused in herbs.
How to use?
Brand says to use it in AM/PM routine. Apply to damp skin, massage into face, rinse.

I have used quite a few gel/liquid cleansers before not a lot, none could impress me. This is the cleanser of my dreams. I would love to repurchase this bottle full of antioxidants and try out all the cleansers the brand offers so badly but the price and unavailability in India would not let me buy it for now at least. My hunt for the budget friendly, non-stripping, gel based, mildly foaming, easily available cleanser with a dose of antioxidants is still on…
This is an amazing gel based face cleanser for normal to oily skin type which balances moisture of skin very well. It is 100% natural, vegan and very well formulated, I absolutely love it. Although it is expensive, a must try if budget is not an issue. Do try out the sample and patch test before investing into full sized product if you are allergic to essential oils.
