Hey guys! Hope you are doing well. I am posting after ages – the last part of 2020 Empties. This is final part of the empties series and the last post of 2020. I had saved some of the empties from ages to make dedicated posts but I think it’s high time I should let them go and post my quick reviews here. We have a lot in this post, grab a cup of tea or coffee! I have tried to give super crisp reviews. If you have any queries, comment below and ask away.
Klairs Deep Cleansing Oil (Not in picture)
Emptied second bottle long back. It is such an amazing emulsifying cleansing oil. It takes off everything from face – leaves slight residue which I feel almost all first cleansers leave.
Earth Rhythm Exfoliating Cleanser
A very gentle exfoliating cleanser that leaves skin smooth without drying. I actually used on body too because it leaves my skin very soft. Reviewed.
Vegan Glow Mild Foam Cleanser
This is super mild and gentle cleanser which is excellent for all skin types. It doesn’t leave skin stripping. It has mild coconut beads they smell nice when they get burst. Definitely will restock this.
Sukin Foaming Facial Cleanser
This is again a very very gentle cleanser. It smells very pleasant. It is a moisturising one so best for dry skin types. Will restock this as well.
Toners / Face Mists
My hand looks so glowy na – chemical exfoliants & moisturization ka kamal haha yes I use chemical exfoliants on body to fade the chicken pox marks!
Vriksha Veda French Lavender Face Mist – amazing – reviewed
Shesha Ayurveda Pure Rose Water – amazing – reviewed
The Ordinary AHA 30% BHA 2% Peeling Solution
Extremely amazing peel! This is dirt cheap and my skin freaking loves this. Not for beginner but excellent if you want some advance treatment. Gives super smooth skin and keeps the acne at bay. Forever repurchase for me – it’s OOS everywhere.
The Ordinary 2% Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
My first ever HA serum. It gives my plumpest skin. It’s little thick but very effective. Grab this if you have very dehydrated or dry skin. Use on damp skin and seal in with moisturizer before it completely absorbs.
The Ordinary Plant Derived Squalane
It is one of the best rich oils for dry skin types. It has helped me a lot when my skin was peeling.
Pure by Priyanka Miracle Oil Enchantist
Beautiful facial oil for oily skin types – reviewed.
I have been using all my treatments except BHA for body too to fade the chickenpox scars.
Pure by Priyanka Green Tea Toner – excellent for acne prone skin – reviewed – repurchased!
Suganda BHA serum – didn’t work – reviewed
The Inkey List PHA Toner – good for beginners – reviewed
Dr. sheth’s Gulab Glycolic Toner – amazing for beginners
By Wishtrend Vitamin 75 Maximizing Cream
This is an amazing gel cream. If you have dry skin, this won’t be enough. It leaves skin soft and dewy. I have finished 2 jars of this long back.
Drunk Elephant Protini
An excellent peptides based moisturizer this is. Very expensive but worth the splurge. This was gifted by my friend Ayesha.
Cosrx Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Cream
Hands down, the best moisturizer for dry skin this is. I finished it long back and used during my worst skin phase. It didn’t cause breakouts and worked amazingly. If you have dry skin, just get this and thank me later. So underrated but extremely amazing.
Klairs Vitamin E Mask
My first disappointment from Klairs. This was a freebie with wishtrend order, it is not enough for my skin plus it doesn’t give any glow. I enjoyed playing with the memory texture though. I used it as a moisturizer, no heart to wash off – smells very calming and soothing. I love everything that I have tried from Klairs – one of the first K beauty brand that I tried and excellent no nonsense formulations they have.
Okay, needless to say, it’s so important to wear SPF daily without fail. I use daily even if I am at home since my whole house gets nice sunlight 365 days.
Vilvah Day Cream – difficult to blend – reviewed
Earth Rhythm Sun Defence – excellent for all except oily skin – reviewed
Mamaearth Hydragel Sunscreen – don’t like – reviewed
I used to apply creams or lotions only in winters but after chickenpox, I am very conscious and I scrub body regularly ( on hair wash days 😂), I use chemical exfoliants (not daily) and creams/lotions regularly.
Urvi Naturals Coconut Oil – nice – reviewed
Down to Earth Sandalwood Body Butter – nice, smells divine
Glam Aroma Coconut Vanilla Body Lotion – smells divine – lovely lightweight body lotion
Soultree Hand & Foot Cream – don’t like much – reviewed
Pure by Priyanka Honey Vanilla Body Scrub – amazing – smells heavenly. Reviewed
Kama Ayurveda Coconut Oil – it’s nice but pricey
Bath & Body Works Vanilla Patchouli Body Lotion – smells heavenly – amazing. Reviewed
Vitamin C Serums
I have used these over years and kept them to make a post. Couldn’t do so posting quick reviews.
Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Serum
This is a 5% vit c serum. Excellent for beginners. I love it to the bits. It was my first vit c serum. Takes some time to show results but works amazingly.
Neemli HA & Vitamin C serum
This has 12% vit c and HA. I love this so much that I finished 3 bottles. It’s pricey but totally worth. Excellent if you are used to vit c. Won’t suggest for beginners since it is 12%.
Jumiso All Day Brightening Serum
I think it’s 10% vit c (don’t remember exactly). Didn’t work for me so used on body. This is very much raved and I wish this worked for me.
Dot & Key Vitamin C Serum
This is 10% vit c serum. Works great and good for all skin types. I think even beginners can use this it’s really nice.
I have some brand wise reviews. I thought it will be easy to categorise this way.
Keep Cool Bamboo Soothe Line
One of the best brands I discovered in 2020! I have used all these products on all rough days. I was diagnosed with chickenpox and this is the only line I used on face because all these products soothe and calm my skin like anything. I will be repurchasing these for sure. They have no smell, no fuss and excellent formulations. I would highly recommend if you have very sensitive skin type. Get this and thank me later.
- Toner is just like water but it’s hydrating and I love it. It’s excellent to layer.
- Serum is so rich hydrating. I so love the texture.
- Lotion is very hydrating and lightweight. It’s water based and amazing.
I have used 4 of their tonics and I so love all! Reviewing 3 here.
This is a 5% AHA toner and my first AHA! A bomb formulation and great for beginners. It takes time to show results but it is amazing. I have a backup already. Get small bottle (100ml) – that will last you for a year if you use it just on face. Big sized bottles are difficult to finish – I use this on body so big bottle.
Absolutely amazing calming toner. If you have sensitive skin, you will love this. Reviewed
Vitamin C Tonic
Not very potent but great for daily use. I use it on body and I have the backup.
I got these from the wishtrend Gothamista box long back. I love this brand!
Vitamin Tree Mask
Little gritty but cleanses the skin so nicely. I love it as a detox mask. Superb formulation.
Irritates on my dry patches – very hydrating toner and it is very raved but I didn’t like much. I love Laneige cream skin over this.
I had clicked these some days back and finished following in past week so including here!
The Body Shop Body Butters
Got these during 50% offer last year and so love them. TBS body butters are excellent for dry skin but the intensity depends on variants. Ginger one has warm gingery smell which I don’t like much but butter is amazing. Shea butter is amazing. I love the texture and smell of Shea a lot.
Forest Essentials Rose Water
Savi from myvibe.in had gifted me this and I so love this beautiful rose water. It’s really nice.
Sova Body wash – amazing – reviewed
Vilvah Eye Cream
This is a really nice and rich eye cream. It is affordable too. Not very creamy but it’s nice.
My empties post is incomplete without posting pictures of empty boxes haha. Here we go!
Done with empties now there’s one news – this is my last blog post. I am not continuing blogging. I am sorry for all the promises I made and couldn’t finish reviewing, sorry for the disappointment. I might take down this website next year. If you have any queries you can always reach out on my insta DM.
I am truly grateful to all of you for your immense love and support throughout my journey. I am getting daily views even when I am not posting. It is truly very overwhelming and touching. A big thank you to all for your constant love & support. Life is unpredictable, I never thought I would start a blog and receive so much love and faith (never thought to mark a semicolon too hehe). I won’t be able to share the reasons behind this but I am so so grateful to all your love and trust. On that note good bye 2020 and let’s welcome 2021 for all the good things happening!
