Mamaearth HydraGel Indian Sunscreen is made keeping in mind the needs of Indian skin. The gel-based formula with SPF 50 soothes the skin while protecting it from the harmful rays of the sun. Aloe Vera in the sunscreen has high anti-inflammatory properties and is extremely soothing. It also contains Raspberries that rejuvenate the skin and reverse signs of aging, such as fine lines, dark spots, and wrinkles. The light and non-greasy gel formula protects your skin from sun damage and also keeps it hydrated.

My Experience with Mamaearth HydraGel Sunscreen

Firstly, I am impressed by the gel texture that feels very cooling on skin. I really wanted to try this variant as I liked mineral sunscreen by Mamaearth but it is a disappointment. While this sunscreen doesn’t leave any white caste and blending is very much easy, this leaves sticky finish on skin which makes me look like a grease ball and everyone keeps on asking me what you have applied on face!

I am currently using it on my body just for the sake of finishing it. Mamaearth Mineral sunscreen is far better than this. Hydragel sunscreen provides some hydration but as I said it leaves skin sticky which I hate. Plum Green tea sunscreen has very similar texture and I really like it over this one.

My Take on Mamaearth HydraGel Sunscreen

The only thing I don’t like about Mamaearth HydraGel Indian Sunscreen is the stickiness. It makes my skin sticky in whichever way I apply and I feel uncomfortable. Mineral sunscreen variant on the other hand is really good option compared to this one. I have used far better sunscreens like Pure by Priyanka, Klairs Airy soft, Keep Cool Sun Essence. I am not sure if dry skin beauties would like this or not but a definite NO for normal to oily skin types. I would not like this particular sunscreen but would highly recommend Mamaearth Mineral sunscreen.
